We are a leading MedCo Tier 1 medico-legal agency with our own in-house physiotherapy clinic. In addition to offering a treatment service for patients who have been injured in a road traffic accident or accident at work, we provide physiotherapy treatment for Winn Group staff and private patients. We also run an innovative multi-component weight management programme under our Onhealth brand.

Job Specification

Key Responsibilities

  • The role involves clinical assessment, treatment planning & delivery, compiling summary reports for medico-legal referrals, and telephone triage assessment.
  • During the coronavirus pandemic we are operating a virtual first model, delivering a combination of face to face sessions and treatment via video link.
  • The caseload is varied and includes a range of acute trauma cases, occupational health staff referrals, and some self-funding private patients.
  • Exciting opportunities exist to develop skills in running exercise classes for clients on our On Health weight management programme (open when coronavirus restrictions allow) and in carrying out computer workstation assessments.
  • The role would ideally suit new graduates with an interest in MSK physiotherapy or junior physiotherapists with some post qualification MSK experience who are looking to further develop their skills in this field.

Key Requirements

• We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated physiotherapists who will share our aim of delivering the highest possible standard of rehabilitation services for our clients.
• Effective communication and organisational skills, to include communicating via video link.
• A flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent report writing and computer skills as we use case management software.
• Manual therapy and exercise prescription experience in relation to the treatment of acute soft tissue injuries is advantageous but not essential as full training and support will be provided.
• An interest in delivering group exercise classes
• An acupuncture qualification is also desirable.
• Applicants must have a BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy, be HCPC registered and a Member of the CSP.
