Paralegal (Portal Team)

A vacancy has become available for a Paralegal within the Portal team to manage a caseload of files and to handle the various stages of an RTA portal claim.

Job Specification
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities would be:
- Ensure the client obtains the appropriate level of compensation for their personal injury and losses, in accordance with regulations and legislation.
- Deliver a level of Client Care in accordance with SRA regulations
- Ensure that all evidence is uploaded to the RTA claims portal to achieve the best possible outcome for the client and Winn Group
- Ensure that all disbursements incurred are proportionate and recovered from the other side by uploading them to the RTA claims portal

Key Requirements
- Experience of running a caseload of files and dealing with clients
- Critical thinking, basic drafting and litigation experience and basic understanding of risk assessing cases.
- Experience of working towards deadlines and performance objectives
- Experience of working well as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Ability to solve problems and effectively feedback any issues which would impact the department
- Ability to deal with difficult clients, communicate effectively, and where appropriate give legal advice in relation to their claim
