In-House Advocate

This is an excellent opportunity for a practicing Barrister who is looking to move in-house, a Solicitor with advocacy experience, or a BPTC graduate.

Your primary responsibility will be to advocate hearings for Winn Solicitors Ltd i.e. Stage 3 hearings, Small and Fast track trials, CMCs, costs hearings and applications.

Job Specification

Key Responsibilities

• To advocate hearings for Winn Solicitors Ltd as requested
• To advocate hearings for any other parties as requested
• To ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the Client by preparing cases, carrying out research and developing appropriate submissions
• To maximise costs recovery in accordance within relevant costs regimes
• To provide feedback to relevant departments on outcomes and trends
• Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it

Key Requirements

• Civil procedure, personal injury and credit hire experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate initiative
