Debt Recovery Agent/Paralegal

We are recruiting for a Debt Recovery Agent/Paralegal with a minimm of 12 months experience. This role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop their existing skills and knowledge within a supportive and experienced team.

Job Description

You will be responsible for maintaining an active case load with the aim of ensuring maximum debt recovery. Your duties will include:

• Responsible for a caseload of debt recovery matters
• Negotiating and monitoring payment plans
• Carrying out residency and other searches. Assessing Debtors’ ability to pay
• Issuing Part 7 and Part 8 Proceedings. Making Applications
• Preparing schedules and other Court documents
• Liaising with High Court Enforcement
• Liaising with Legal Teams and other Businesses within the Winn Group

Person Specification

The ideal candidate should be a hardworking, confident team player and possess the relevant attributes and experience outlined below:

• A minimum of 12 months experience in debt recovery
• Preferred experience in Litigation
• Preferred understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules
• Excellent communication skills
• Time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
