BI Analyst/Developer

Industry-leading Winn Group has a new opportunity for a BI Analyst/Developer to join our IT and Change Department within Winn Solicitors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions, in line with Winn Group requirements and projects, along with associated MI to quantity KPI’s within the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy BI solutions
• Build and maintain effective tools for interaction with 3rd parties
• Building and analysis of MI within the Winn Group to track and monitor perform and KPI’s
• Programming and design of the Proclaim Case Management System used by Winn Group.
• Developing new and existing workflows and document templates
• Working and leading on various technical and development projects as required by the business and to agreed timescales
• Responsible for prioritising workload and meeting deadlines
• Provide support for all BI solution and case management related issues, including liaising with 3rd party suppliers
• Assist the IT Helpdesk and take ownership of such calls until resolution or escalation
• Ensure that documentation is kept up to date once implementation work is complete
• Able to work out of hours as and when required for urgent development work/project implementation
• Assist where necessary with any training requirements and materials arising from new/amended workflows
• Keep up to date with technical knowledge and industry developments
• Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used

• Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it

Key Requirements

• Knowledge of SQL, Excel, XML/JSON/Python programmes
• Working knowledge of Proclaim case management system is desirable but not essential
• Strong analytical and communication skills with enthusiasm to learn the mechanics of a marketing leading company
• Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and able to think outside the box
• Able to work on projects alone or as part of a team

• Sound legal knowledge and experience, preferably in the personal injury or RTA insurance market
• Implementation and maintenance of BI solutions and programmes
• Experience of Project Management and working towards tight deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple jobs simultaneously and prioritise accordingly
• Experience of working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Able to demonstrate strong work ethic and effective communication
• Problem solving initiative and a solutions-focused approach
