A Warm Winns Welcome to Stuart Dent
Winns IT department continues to bring in the best expert talent, as Stuart Dent joins the team as Senior Technical Support Engineer.
In his new role at Winns, Stuart has been tasked with working towards ensuring the company's Cyber Essentials Plus status and will be heavily involved in the required remedial actions such as updating servers, and rerunning scans to ensure that any changes made fix problems.
“I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in with Cyber Essentials Plus, as well as the new SAN (storage area network) project which will see an improvement in the server infrastructure” explains Stuart.
“It's a different sector to what I'm used to, a different challenge, but I'm looking forward to fully using my transferable skills to help improve IT infrastructure and user experience across Winn Group.”
Stuart comes to us from Northumberland College, where he has spent the last decade, after graduating from his BTEC National Award and National Certificate course in IT, to progress his career by becoming the head of department.
